About SuRaksha
The SuRaksha Parhit Foundation is a group of close friends united by a common goal: to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Founded in September 2021 by Seema Verma, a former banker turned full-time parent, the foundation is a tribute to her late parents, Sh. Subhash Chander Malhotra and Smt. Raksha Malhotra.
Seema has actively been involved with organizations like ‘Roti Bank’ and ‘Earth Saviours Foundation’, providing food and essential supplies to those less fortunate.
Joining Seema in this endeavor is Mr. Piyush Gupta, a businessman with a heart for philanthropy. Piyush contributes both his time and resources to the foundation, focusing on logistics and procurement to ensure efficient operations.
Ms. Sinchita Bhattacharjee, based in Calcutta, brings her diverse skills as a teacher, writer, and editor to the foundation. She not only contributes financially but also manages the foundation’s accounts with precision.
Together, this dedicated team works tirelessly to bring about positive change in the lives of those they serve, embodying the spirit of compassion and community support.
